Hayesville – The Lady Devils fell to homestanding Hayesville in the first round of the Smoky Mountain Conference Tournament on Saturday. Hayesville downed the Devils, 55-49, for the second time in a week. With the loss Swain will have to wait this week to see if they qualify for the NCHSAA playoffs. Playoff pairings will not be announced until next Monday, February 20th. Hayesville will take on Murphy Tuesday in the second round of the SMC Tournament.
