Cherokee – Last weekend the Maroon Devil wrestlers took part in the Osley B. Saunooke tournament in Cherokee. This tournament is always a big deal and features teams from all over the state. As a team the Devils took third behind Pisgah and McDowell. Swain’s Corbin Wildcatt and Chris Miller came away with top honors in their weight class. Nate Brock and Craig Cutshaw finished second in their respective weight class, while Will Ogle took third in his.
