Murphy – The Bulldogs used a strong first quarter to build an early lead and then used that to record a 48-35 Smoky Mountain Conference win over Swain on Friday. Murphy’s Emma Stroup led all scorers with a game high 19 points.
Lynsey Hicks paced Swain with a team high 10 points. Taylor Medlin and Ashton Younce added 6 points each for the Devils.
