Bryson City – Wednesday the Maroon Devils pulled away from a game young Smoky Mountain squad and posted a 85-67 win. Some believe it to be the Devils first win over the Mustangs since 2004. The win marked the Devils 4th straight win to start the season, and was the 3rd time they have reached 80 or more points.
The trio of Phinehas Little, Evan Bradley, and Zeke Bradley have led the Devils in scoring in every game, including Wednesday. Little finished with a game high 28 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Evan Bradley shook off a slow start to finish with 22 points, while Zeke Bradley finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Brier Younce came off the bench to lead the team with 8 assists and 7 steals.
