Bulldogs Down Swain in Straight Sets

14322200_1381249511885504_6353926765883435817_nMurphy – The Lady Devils headed to Murphy Thursday in hopes of staying in contention, with the Bulldogs sitting one game behind Hayesville in the standings. Murphy made short work of the Lady Devils sweeping in straight sets 3-0, by the scores of 25-13, 25-23, and 25-18.  Swain played shorthanded without the services of leading hitter Grace Cabe, who missed due to an injury.

Alissa Smith: 15 digs and 1 ace
Ashley Winchester: 7 blocks and 2 kills
Taylor Collins: 6 blocks and 1 kill
