The “ONE Swain” Program was designed by students and faculty to increase Swain pride. The program’s foundation
is a point system where students will earn points by being proficient in academics, as well as for attending various school-wide events. Points are being tallied on the student’s school ID cards, and will at various points be given prizes for a certain amount of points. The purpose of ONE Swain is to increase student involvement while they are encouraging their peers. Various prizes such as – hats, t-shirts, mugs, seat cushions, and more- have been donated by our amazing sponsors. We could not have pulled the program off without them.
ONE Swain has already been used in various ways, and in outstanding scenarios. The Lady Devil volleyball team recently played conference rival, Rosman, and the student section was roaring, eventually helping lead them to victory. Each Friday night at the Varsity football game there is now a themed Student Section, such as last week’s “America” theme in support for our veterans. Students showed up in their best red, white, blue, and most importantly with their best Swain spirit. From the success the program has already had, we can’t wait to see it grow even bigger with more students and more pride.

3 All AB 9 weeks career prep teacher send 2 days of report cards
3 Awareness Events events such as Women Rising or Relay for Life
3 Homecoming Dress Up 3 points per each day you dress up
3 No Unexcused Absences will be given per 9 weeks
5 All A 9 weeks career prep teacher send 2 days of report cards
