Bryson City – Thursday the Lady Devils won their fifth straight match by downing Highlands 3-1. Serving was key for both squads all night. Swain took the first two games by the scores of 25-18 and 25-20. Highlands responded by getting out to an 11-0 lead before eventually taking the third set 25-23. Senior Gabby Jones served the Lady Devils 6 straight points to begin the fourth set, a set the Lady Devils would go on to win 25-12.
With the win the Lady Devils move to 6-3 on the season.
