Robbinsville – The Black Knights scored 8 runs over the first 3 innings and then held off a Swain rally to take a 8-5 SMC win. Robbinsville scored 3 in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd, and 2 more in the 3rd before the Lady Devils settled in and kept them scoreless the remainder of the game. Swain scored 3 times in the 3rd and then 2 more in the 7th.
Sydney Call tripled to drive in Callyn Brown and Tori Treadway (who was running for Taylor Day) in the 3rd for Swain. Call would score two batters later when Bryar Buchanan reached through an error.
In the 7th Alicia Green was hit by a pitch and Callyn Brown singled. Both would come around to score on wild pitches.
Brown finished 2 for 3 and scored twice for the Lady Devils, who managed just 4 hits on the day.
