Hiwassee Dam – The undefeated Hiwassee Dam team posted 5 runs in the 6th to score a 10-1 over the visiting Lady Devils. Swain’s disastrous 6th turned downright ugly as shortstop Grace Cabe had to be helped off the field with an apparent shoulder injury after colliding with a teammate while trying to catch a fly ball. The game was halted due to lighting and rain, before eventually being called due to weather.
Sydney Call and Alissa Smith had the only two hits for Swain on the day. Smith drove in Bryar Buchanan, who reached via an error, with the Devils only run when she doubled in the 4th. Swain trailed 5-1 entering the 6th.
