Andrews – Andrews’ Kenzi Gunter hit a two run home run in the bottom of the 5th to give Andrews a 4-2 lead over Swain. Andrews would hold the Lady Devils scoreless over the final two innings to hand Swain their first conference loss of the season.
Swain committed five errors and gave up 3 unearned runs in the loss.
Sydney Call singled home Grace Cabe in the top of the first to give Swain it’s first run of the game. Alissa Smith accounted for the other run with a solo home run in the top of the third, it was Smith and the Lady Devils first home run of the season.
