Winston-Salem – Swain sends two to Indoor Track Championships held in Winston Salem. Shelby Hyatt (12th grade) place 18th out of 28 with a time of 13:06.8 . Brittany Stanley of Mount Pleasant won with a time of 11:27.8. Cooper Reinert got the bronze medal in boys pole vault with a vault of 12’1″ and the event was won by boys outdoor state championship winner Laith Nickell of North Stokes. The event was held at the JDL Fast Track indoor facility in Winston-Salem.
