Bryson City – Swain outscored Murphy 25-9 in the second quarter on their way to an easy 86-60 conference win Tuesday. The Maroon Devils used a balanced attack with every player scoring to take down the Bulldogs. The win moved the Devils to 9-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play.
Sophomore guard Brier Younce paced Swain with 15 points and 11 assists. Phinehas Little finished with 12 points, Clayton Catolster with 11, while Evan Bradley had 9 points. To round out the scoring Ethan Jackson and Darren Blankenship had 8, Dylan Smith and Angel Bowers 7, Nolan Arkansas 5, and Zeke Bradley 4.
