Bryson City – Swain trailed for most of the 1st half but out scored Murphy 20-10 to open the second half and would make that hold up to post a 65-54 win over visiting Murphy.
Four Lady Devils finished in double figure scoring to pace Swain. Junior Taylor Medlin finished with a game high 17 points for Swain, including 3 3-point field goals. Maleeah Longstaff finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists. Lynsey Hicks added 11 points while Grace Cabe had 10. Hicks also had 4 assists and Cabe 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
