Bryson City – Spencer McCoy has topped off his magical senior wrestling season by being named to the All WNC team.
McCoy (22-0) was an NCHSAA 1-A champion for the third consecutive year despite missing the first two months of the season with a knee injury. He also won his weight class at the Smoky Mountain and 1-A Western Regional tournaments. McCoy’s career record was 119-12 and he was unbeaten against SMC competition for four years.
Graham Allen (Wrestling) and Grant Shuler (Basketball) were Honorable Mention All WNC.
