Bryson City – A day after falling out of 1st place with a 3-1 loss to Hiwassee Dam the Lady Devils found themselves falling even further. Robbinsville handed the Lady Devils a 12-4 loss. It marked the first time the Knights have beaten Swain in the last 14 years.
Robbinsville pounded out 14 hits on their way to 12 runs. Meanwhile Swain had 8, but could only manage 4 runs on the day.
Adriana Kaylor, Shayne Catolster, and Bryar Buchanan each had 2 hits, accounting for 6 of Swain’s 8 hits. Catolster drove in two runs.
