Waynesville – Tuscola scored 4 runs in the 1st inning and used that advantage to take a 10-3 win over Swain on Thursday. The Mountaineers turned a walk, single, and a couple of errors into their 4 run 1st.
Trae Bradley went 2-4 and scored the Devils first run of the game in the top of the 1st. Bradley also drove in one of the Devils three runs. Jarrett Shuler singled and scored a run for Swain as well. Jamy Oocumma doubled driving in a run.
On the mound Trent Wright worked 5 innings. Wright yielded only 2 earned runs on the day, walking 6 and striking out 3 while scattering 4 hits. Jamy Oocumma worked an inning of relief.
