Bryson City – Noah Hicks, who played this season for Swain, has been selected to the West-Midwest All-Star Basketball game. Hicks will be on the West squad. The game will be Saturday March 21st at Cherryville High School.
This is the first year for the event, which is seen as a way to showcase the outstanding talent in the region that might otherwise not be seen by college coaches. The West squad will be made up of 15 seniors from both the Little and Big Smoky Mountain Conference, while the Midwest will be made up of seniors from the Southern Piedmont conference.
