Bryson City – Swain High’s Annee Hyatt has been selected to participate in the inaugural West-Midwest 1A All-Star Game. The game will be March 21st at Cherryville High School. Hyatt will be a member of the West team.
This is the first year for the event, which is seen as a way to showcase the outstanding talent in the region that might otherwise not be seen by college coaches. The West squad will be made up of 15 seniors from both the Little and Big Smoky Mountain Conference, while the Midwest will be made up of seniors from the Southern Piedmont conference.
