Highlands – After coming close when Highlands came to Bryson City, the Lady Devils got the win they wanted Friday at Highlands. Swain used balanced scoring that saw 8 different players score, to gain a 10 point 52-42 win over Highlands.
Gabby Jones paced Swain with a game high 12 points, she added 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Lydia Sale finished with 9 points and a game high 13 rebounds to go along with 5 steals. Brooklyn Brown added a career high 8 points and 8 rebounds. Annee Hyatt and Taylor Medlin finished with 7 points each for the Lady Devils, while Lynsey Hicks and Karie Jones each had a team high 3 assists.
