Robbinsville – Tuesday was about as big a regular season match as you could ask for, as Swain traveled to Robbinsville, with first place on the line. The Maroon Devils got stellar performances as they downed the Black Knights 42-26 and vaulted themselves into serious contention for a SMC crown.
Jake Radford got things started for the Devils earning a 10-8 decision in the 106 weight class. Robbinsville then took four straight matches from Swain with a pinfall, 2 major decisions, and a forfeit. Raine Bradley, Chris Miller and Austin Padilla took forfeit wins at 132, 138, and 145 pounds, getting the Devils back into the match.
Then it would be Graham Allen, Coleman Jenkins, and Ross Ensley who put the Devils over the top. Allen took a 8-7 decision at 152. Jenkins and Ensley both took pins, Jenkins at 160 and Ensley at 170.

Caleb Woodard (182) and Craig Cutshaw (220) sealed the win for the Devils. Both Woodard and Cutshaw lost, but did so by decision rather than being pinned.
Then it was Corbin Wildcatt (285) who put the icing on the cake for the Devils with a pin in the final match of the night.
