Bryson City – The Lady Devils continued improved play finally paid off in the form of a win. After jumping out to a 26-11 lead over the game’s first 16 minutes, the Lady Devils held off East Henderson to take a 47-42 win.
Freshman Lynsey Hicks paced Swain with 13 points, while sophomore Taylor Medlin added 12 in the win. Lydia Sale had a team high 7 rebounds, while Gabby Jones had 6, Hicks and Brooklyn Brown had 5 rebounds each.
