Autumn Brown finished with 38 assists in the Lady Devils 3-1 win on Monday
Bryson City – Swain ventured out of the Smoky Mountain Conference for a match with Smoky Mountain Monday. The Lady Devils took a 3-1 win by the scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-22, and 25-19. Junior setter Autumn Brown dished out 38 assists in setting up the Lady Devil offense. Karie Jones (27 digs) and Lydia Sale (22 digs) patrolled the back line. When Sale went to the front line she was equally effective as she had a team high 18 kills. Joining Sale was fellow senior Alyssa Robinson who tallied 10 kills and 5 blocks while at the net. Emily Styles added 5 kills, 3 blocks, and 4 aces to the Lady Devils attack.
On the season the Lady Devils are now 7-1 overall and 4-0 in Smoky Mountain Conference play.
