BRYSON CITY – The Maroon Devils took the rubber game of their season series with Cherokee, and in doing so advanced to the 2nd round of the 2013 NCHSAA 1A Soccer Playoffs. Swain and Cherokee split their previous two meetins with each team winning at home. Playing at Memorial Stadium the Devils came from behind to notch a 3-2 win in the closing minutes of the 2nd half of the first overtime period.
