Lydia Sale in action against Rosman from earlier in the season
BRYSON CITY – It was a sluggish start for the Lady Devils, who dropped game 1 to Hayesville, but they rebounded by winning 3 straight games and take the match. With the win the Devils advance to face rival Rosman in the 3rd round of the NCHSAA 1A volleyball playoffs.
Lydia Sale had 13 kills for the Lady Devils, Alyssa Robinson added 11, while Maggie Sutton and Jenn Brown finished with 9 each. Setter Valerie Arkansas finished with 30 assists. Karie Jones 7 and Alex Treadway 6 led the Devils in digs.
The meeting between Rosman and Swain will mark the 4th of the season. Rosman has won the previous 3 including one at Rosman. First serve is set for 6 o’clock from Rosman.
