HAYESVILLE – Swain’s Raymius Smith went over the 5000 yard passing mark for his career in the Devils 28-21 win over Hayesville this past Friday. In that game Smith was 12 of 23 for 82 yards and a touchdown. For his combined career at both Cherokee and Swain Smith is now 286 of 491 for 5023 yards with 64 touchdowns and only 23 interceptions. At Swain Smith is 198 for 331 for 3497 yards and 48 touchdowns and is second only to Heath Shuler in passing yardage.
