Val Arkansas had 23 assists and 3 aces in Swain’s win
ROBBINSVILLE – The Lady Devils swept Robbinsville 3-0 on Tuesday by tthe scores of 25-22, 25-11, and 25-14. With the win the Lady Devils move to 17-5 overall and 12-1 in conference play. It sets up a huge showdown on Thursday as Swain hosts first place Rosman in volleyball action.
Lydia Sale had a match high 10 kills to lead the Swain offense, while Emily Styles added 5 kills. Valerie Arkansas dished out 23 assists and had 3 aces from the service line. Maggie Sutton had 5 aces to lead the Devils. Karie Jones and Lydia Sale had 12 digs each.
Swain will host Rosman Thursday at 6 o’clock (varsity match). Rosman is unbeaten in conference play, while the Lady Devils have one loss.
