Kirkland hit a grand slam and had 5 rbi for Swain
Swain broke open a tight, 3-0 game with 13 runs over the final 3 innings to down Robbinsville by the score of 16-1 Tuesday in SMC play.
Kendra Kirkland topped off a big 7 run 7th inning for Swain with a grand slam home run, her 7th of the season. Kirkland finished with 5 rbi for the day, to go along with a pair of hits. Maggie Sutton had 3 hits and an rbi, while Taylor Shuler and Nikki Cody had a pair of hits for Swain. Karie Jones had 3 rbi on the day.
Sutton picked up the win from the circle for the Devils, pitching 5 shutout innings before yielding to Karie Jones.
