Swain’s junior varsity softball team, split a double header with Rosman Tuesday by the scored of 8-15 and 8-2.
In game 1 the junior ladies gave up 8 walks and 13 runs in the first two innings. Rosman only scored 2 more runs the rest of the game. Savannah Shuler drove in a run and went 1-3, while Caitlyn Dills scored a pair of runs and walked twice, Mincy McGill doubled going 2-3, scoring once and driving in a run.
In game 2 the Lady Devils got solid pitching from Karie Jones, who scattered two hits over five innings of work. Caitlyn Dills singled and scored Swain’s first run. Ashley Frady was 1-3 and drove in 2 runs.
