Swain picked up an 8-2 win at Rosman on Tuesday. The Devils scored 3 runs in the 4th to break a 1-1 tie, and take the lead for good.
In the 4th Jordan Cody singled, then stole 2nd. Derek Fortner drew a walk. Cody and Fortner then stole 3rd and 2nd. Ross Ensley followed with a double to centerfield to score both. Ensley scored on a Brody Sitton single.
Sitton finished 2-3 with a pair of rbi, while Jarrett Shuler drove in a pair of runs as well.
Trent Wright tossed a complete game to earn the win. Wright struck out 6 and scattered 5 hits while yielding only 1 earned run.
