Trailing 5-1 heading into the top of the 4th the junior Lady Devils made good on what was left of daylight by scoring 14 runs to take a 15-5 win over Cherokee Tuesday.
Savannah Shuler, Ashley Frady, Mincy McGill, Macy Steely, and Caitlyn Dills all scored twice in the 4th inning. Brooklyn Brown scored two runs as well, including the Devils first run of the game in the 1st inning.
Macy Steely picked up the win from the circle. Steely gave up 4 first inning runs before settling in over the next 3 innings. She also worked out of a bases loaded, with only one out, jam in the third by striking out the next two hitters.
