Heading into Tuesday the Lady Devils had not lost to a conference foe, other than Murphy, in 9 years. Hayesville ended that streak Tuesday with a 10-3 win over the Devils. The Jackets scored 6 runs in the sixth inning to break open a 4-2 game and take the win.
Kendra Kirkland hit her 3rd home run of the season, a solo shot in the 5th inning, while Maggie Sutton went 3-3. Abbe Kirby drove in Sutton with a single in the 4th inning. Kirkland collected her 2nd rbi of the game in the 7th by singling home Karie Jones.
