Jacob Wildcatt signs with Georgia Military College to play football. Congrats Jacob!
Swain County High School is pleased to announce that Maroon Devil standout Jacob Wildcatt has signed to continue his football career with Georgia Military College. Wildcat was a 3 year starter on the offensive and defensive line for the Maroon Devils, and was an All Smoky Mountain Conference selection as well as All WNC. This season on defense Wildcatt had 91 tackles, including a team high 24 for loss, to go along with 4.5 sacks. Wildcatt was a key on the offensive line that helped the Devils amass 6339 yards of total offense this season. During Wildcatt’s 3 years as a starter the Devils compiled a 37-7 mark, including 30-2 over the past two seasons that saw the Devils win the 2011 State 1AA Championship and the 2012 State 1AA Runner-up.
