Swain finished 3rd at the James Orr tournament this past weekend in Robbinsville. Host Robbinsville took first followed by Tuscola and then Swain in the 10 team tournament. Swain was behind only Robbinsville amoung the 1A schools present as they finished ahead of Murphy, Hayesville, Hendersonville, Avery, Alleghany and Andrews.
Russell Bigmeat, Sean Webb, and Ryan Reichert all took first place in their weight class. Bigmeat in the 132 class, Webb in the 138, and Reichert won the 285. John Miller was second in the 126, while Graham Allen was second in the 120 class. Dillon Miller was 4th in the 152 class.
