It was suppose to be easy. The Maroon Devils high flying act was suppose to get an easy win Tuesday. Unfortunately someone forgot to tell Blue Ridge, who put up a fight against the Devils. Despite sloppy and at times absent minded play the Maroon Devils built a 20 point lead, only to see Blue Ridge cut it to 8 at the start of the fourth quarter. It took a hard foul by the Bobcats on the Devils’ Greg Tisho, who was going in for a dunk, to wake the Devils from their slumber. From that point the Devils went on a run building another 20 point lead that they would end the game with by the score of 69-45.
Tisho and Corbin Panther led Swain with 19 points each, while Raymius Smith added 12 points, and Matthew Maennle finished with 5 assists.
