Philip Latter WNC Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year
Swain’s Philip Latter was named WNC Coach of the Year for his efforts in leading the Lady Devils cross country team this season. The honor is an all WNC and all classifaction honor for Latter.
Latter led the Lady Devils to their first ever women’s cross country conference championship. All season long the Devils racked up firsts, winning their first ever meet, and then their first ever conference title, and topping it with their first ever trip to the State 1A Championships as a team.
