Swain used a 32-7 run in the third quarter to pull away in this Smoky Mountain Conference game. It was the Devils first win of the season. Swain keyed their 3rd quarter run with stifling defense that lead to fastbreak opportunities.
The Devils used a school record 31 steals to down the Bulldogs. Matthew Maennle paced Swain with a game high 23 points, while Corbin Panther added 14, and Greg Tisho and Raymius Smith had 10 each in the win.
