In tonight’s game against Hendersonville the Maroon Devils team of coaches knew this game was going to be one that could not rely on players alone, they would need the help of the Swain faithful. Lets just say that they got what they asked for! Tonight’s game had to be one of the biggest turn out of fans that I have seen in a long time. The stands were overrunning with people and the fence was lined all around.
I am not sure if all the Swain fans know how important they were in the outcome of tonight’s game (Swain 55 – Hendersonville 24), but you should know that your support matters to those players! I would say that the roaring of the crowd was heard miles away from the stadium, as it was tremendous!
I am not sure exactly how many people were at tonight’s game, and I am not sure if anyone knows, but if you look at the picture above you can get a good idea that there was a lot!
One thing we can all learn from tonight is that when the Maroon Devil Fans are called upon they will answer!
Congratulations to Coach Blankenship and his awesome coaching staff, and his driven team of players that play with the heart and intensity of a true Maroon Devil!
