This Friday’s 3rd round playoff game has been designated a Maroon Out. All fans are asked to wear maroon and show up with their noise makers. The Maroon Machine needs to be on all cylinders for this important game, a fact not lost on Swain coach Neil Blankenship.
“This is why it was important for us to have home field advantage,” stated Blankenship. “We had to travel last year, and it was tough to win at Mitchell. So we need our place to be a tough place to play, and I know our fans, they always answer the call. The louder the better this Friday.”
“Our cheerleaders are going to have signs, directing fans to stand and make noise,” said Cheerleading coach Sherry Wright. “We want Memorial Stadium to be loud, and a tough place to play.”
