Swain 5th At Murphy CC Meet

The Swain Boys Cross Country Team finished in fifth place in a very competitive race at Murphys course yesterday.  Leading the boys’ team was Russell Bigmeat, who finished in 6^th place over all.  Following  Russell was Alex Cook in 14^th place, Sam Dixon in 26^th place, Nate Southards in 38^th place, Harlin Moody in 50^th place, and Ryan Bennett in 53^rd place.

                Team scores were as follows:

                 1) Hayesville-51

                2) Union County (Georgia)-74

                3) Murphy-97

                4) Robbinsville-104

                5) Swain-117

                6) Cherokee-166

                7) Townes County (Georgia)-168

                8) Andrews-200

 

Swain will run next Wednesday at Cherokee High School.
