Swain finished 3rd at the Robbinsville Cross Country meet on Wednesday. Five conference schools participated with Hayesville taking top honors followed closely by host Robbinsville. Andrews and Cherokee finished behind Swain.
Russell Bigmeat was 4th overall with a time of 19:40. Alex Cook was the second Maroon Devil runner to finish, he came in 8th overall. Cook was followed by Sam Dixon (15th), Nate Southards (20th) and Harlen Moody (27th) who rounded out the Swain scoring on the day. Ryan Bennett also ran for Swain.
