BRYSON CITY, WNC – Despite losing 3-1 the Lady Devils were in the thick of it with a very good Brevard (5-1) squad. The scores were close 25-23, 24-26, 26-24, and 25-16.
Lydia Sale had 12 kills for Swain, Jenn Brown had 10 and Kelly Brown 7 to pace the Devils offense. Karie Jones had 30 assists. Jenn Brown had 9 blocks while Jessica Winchester added 6. Alex Treadway had 12 digs.
Swain is now 3-3 on the season.
