HIGHLANDS, WNC – Cody Rich led off the game with a solo home run, and sparked an 11 run first inning by the Devils. Swain then cruised to a 13-0 win over Highlands in a three inning contest. The game was called after the 3rd due to heavy thunderstorms and lightening.
Rich, along with Zach Shuler and Tanner Burrell finished the game with a pair of hits. Burrell also drove in 3 runs.
Bronson Lindsay picked up the win for Swain, pitching all 3 innings and blanking the Highlands squad. Lindsay only gave up one hit over the course of the 3 innings.
