BRYSON CITY, WNC – Roberson scored a run in the first and added the game winner in the third as they took a 2-1 win Thursday in non conference action for the Lady Devils.
Richelle Jenkins pitched a gem, scattering 9 hits and walking two in taking a hard luck loss.
Nikki Cody singled, and advanced to second on Brooke Coggins’ single. Kendra Kirkland scored Cody from second with a solid single for the Devils lone run of the game. The run came in the first inning and tied the game at 1 each.
