BRYSON CITY, WNC – The golf team traveled to the beautiful Country Club of Sapphire Valley in Cashiers. The wind was blowing, but the Swain High Golf Team persevered through the nine hole match. Leading the charge was Coyln Petty shooting an even round of 36. James Carson carded a 40, Ben Cornblum with a 42 and rounding out the devils was Drew Huskey with a 43. Matt Maennle and Isaac Herrin both shot a 60. The devils posted a soild round of 161 for the team score. We travel to Lake Toxaway on Thursday April 19th for a 18 hole match. Conference play starts on Thursday April 26th.
