BRYSON CITY, WNC – Swain got solid production in all events to rack up 96 total points, only 10 behind first place Robbinsville. Morgan Lowe, Dana Thompson, and Ashley Frday notched first place finishes in their respective events.
Lowe was first in the high jump, by clearing 4’8″. Thompson threw the discus 86’8″, good for top honors. Frady won the shot put with a toss of 30’2″.
Lydia Sale collected two 2nd place finishes. Maddie Wike, Alyssa Robinson, and Mary Shell also finished 2nd in their respective events.
Swain also collected 3 2nd place finishes in the relay events as well.
